[RIB Club](https://www.ribclub.com/) is first and foremost about boating. But for members who want a deeper connection to the club (and to each other) events and experiences offer an optional, carefully considered layer. We’re not an events company, and we don’t believe in filling calendars for the sake of it. Everything we offer is designed to reflect the club’s values. Participation is always optional, and boating remains the focus. They exist to enhance membership, not to replace time on the water. Members can expect: ### Calm, considered experiences ### Small group formats ### Quality over quantity ### Events that fit naturally around boating and island life ### Some paid events to ensure commitment and the right atmosphere ### No obligation to attend This approach ensures events feel like a benefit, not a distraction, and that the people who attend genuinely want to be there. Experiences vary depending on season and interest, but may include: **Casual Social Gatherings** **Boating-Led Experiences** **Family-Friendly Activities** **Lifestyle Events Connected To Mallorca** The emphasis is always on shared enjoyment rather than spectacle. There’s no expectation to participate, and many members are perfectly happy enjoying the boats alone, with family, or with guests. ## Our Member Events ![On the water](https://www.ribclub.com/hs-fs/hubfs/20.webp?width=750&height=422&name=20.webp) #### On the Water The Club’s on-the-water events are some of our most popular ones, including our annual Season Opener, Summer Bash and sea picnics.  ![Epicurean](https://www.ribclub.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Images/Epicurean.webp?width=750&height=500&name=Epicurean.webp) #### Epicurean Very popular with all of the gourmets of the Club, these experiences are designed to both entice and challenge the taste buds. ![Arts and culture](https://www.ribclub.com/hs-fs/hubfs/21.webp?width=750&height=422&name=21.webp) #### Arts & Culture Boutique venues, intimate settings and interesting guests make these events some of the Club’s most sought-after experiences. ![sports](https://www.ribclub.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Images/sports.webp?width=750&height=563&name=sports.webp) #### Sports & Activities From golf and tennis tournaments to car racing, private yoga classes and guided hikes, members can enjoy the great outdoors across all of our locations. ![fam](https://www.ribclub.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Images/fam.webp?width=750&height=422&name=fam.webp) #### Family Fun & Adventure These events are specifically designed for our members’ families and range from Family Olympics and kids’ workshops to ladies-only guided hikes. ![VIP experiences](https://www.ribclub.com/hs-fs/hubfs/22.webp?width=750&height=422&name=22.webp) #### VIP Experiences Carefully curated singular events, some of these experiences include dinners with notable thought leaders, private concerts and movie premieres. ## Is this right for you? The boats are immaculate, the booking system is seamless, and the community is fantastic. Best decision we made this year!" James Thompson Member since 2023 "As a family with young kids, we love the flexibility and safety. No more worrying about maintenance or storage. Just pure fun on the water whenever we want it." Maria Gonzalez Member since 2019 "The value is incredible. When you factor in maintenance, insurance, and storage costs, the membership pays for itself.
